One Down, Two More To Go!

First the good news. Rumsfeld is gone!
Excerpt from CNN:
Don Rumsfeld has been a superb leader during a time of change," Bush said Wednesday. "Yet he also appreciates the value of bringing in a fresh perspective during a critical period in this war."
A couple of questions to you, Mr. President.

(1) If Rumsfeld has been superb, what ever happened to that Texas' saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"? Why take someone out when he is doing a great job?!

(2) You said that you accept a major part of the blame for the situation in Iraq. If Rumsfeld was not at fault and soldiers are doing a marvelous job, through process of elimination, YOU are the bad apple. If you really want to bring fresh perspective to Washington, shouldn't you be stepping down?

I am not defending Rumsfeld here. I think that he shouldn't have been there in the first place. He has utter disrespect for the world community. He constantly reminds of Goebbels and I very glad that he is out.

Now, the bad news is, Former CIA chief Robert Gates, who headed that agency from 1991 until 1993, will be nominated to take over as defense secretary, Bush said Wednesday:-( I heard that he is not exactly a saint.

Thanks, Gopa. Better late than never.

I still can't get over the fact how close (just some lousy chads) one came to saving the world from this bushfire. Just wait till 2012 to see the full impact!

Al Gore went on to make that movie about global warming, while our Dubyaman goes around phucking it up!

Guess one can only say that it was destined.

Where do I start and How do I start. The Pretext on which one went to war with Iraq was very good, thanks to Al Qaida, WMD, etc. etc. etc. But after more than 3000 US Soldiers and over 600000 Iraqis getting killed, I totally forgot the real purpose of the war. What was it? Or is the purpose still the same?? The more I think about it the more disgusted I get...to the point that I don't even want to think about it. If I feel so much pain from far, just imagine the pain all those human beings who are in the midst of it all must have and must be going through - Absolutely unfathomable, Im sure. If the humans who are directly affected are going through such pain, just imagine the pain the policy makers of the war must (?) go through coz their decision making has left the whole nation and the rest of the world grieving for all those helpless beings. The irony here is that these so called leaders of the most powerfull nation in the world, the desion makers, DO NOT give a damn. I wonder how they sleep in peace every day....Jesus, Please help them.....As far as the enemy is concerned - because of whom an innocent Iraqi is suffering the most - The Al Qaida - What do I say about them - My blood boils at the thought of such heartless animals - My curse - They should go to hell for their (mis)deeds.
